Comprehension
There are Comprehension passages in the AQE and GL exams. The Comprehensions do not just include Information Gathering questions, they also ask Grammar questions as well as Inference questions. I have included some Historical texts below, as these older style texts often appear in the exams, so it is good to expose your child to this sort of language before they embark on Practice Papers.
